Things to Do During the Wedding Weekend
Here are a couple of things to do during your perfect wedding weekend of wonder!
1. Beach Day
We are in SoCal, after all, and that means beaches, great weather, and natural fun. Gear up by getting some towels, coolers and a picnic basket or grill, and head to one of our amazing local beaches for a day in the sun. Ask your Wedding Coordinator for her favorite beach recommendations!
2. Harbor Cruise
If you’re staying in the San Diego area, check out a Harbor cruise! This activity offers a variety of cruise times and tours. Whether you decide on the upper deck or lower deck your view of the city will be 10 out 10. Or maybe plan a sunset dinner cruise! What’s better than being outside, under the warm sun in the open ocean.
3. Brewery or Winery Tour
Whether your drink of choice is Pabst or prosecco, Stout or Sauvignon there is a tour for you! Look no further than SoCal for some of the best regional brews and wineries. There a tons in every area – Temecula, San Diego, Oceanside, Orange County, even Fallbrook!
4. Go Kart
RacingHead over to K-1 speed racing for a few intense laps with all your loved ones. Bring your family, wedding party, and anyone else that’s still in town for the wedding. You and the crew will be in for a whirlwind of laughs.
What better way to work off all the food and celebratory wedding cake than a sunrise or sunset hike. Cowles Mountain, Los Penasquitos Canyon, Potato Chip Rock, Elfin Forest, Mission Trails the list goes on and on, so pick one and be ready for an adventure. Don’t forget your camera!
6. Movie Night
This is by far one of my personal favorites. All you need is a decent sized yard, driveway or park. Select a film, set up a projection screen and have everyone bring a blanket or chair, add a little popcorn and soda and voila! It’s a classic movie night under the stars.
Enjoy Every Moment
No matter what you decide to do after your destination wedding with family and friends remember two things: 1. Have fun! Do not add more stress to your life, this should be easy and enjoyable 2. Your friends and family just want to spend time with the both of you, they will love whatever they get to do with you!
From the rehearsal dinner to the moments shared with the wedding party, to the wedding ceremony and reception to the activities during the entire weekend; all of these are sure to create an unforgettable wedding weekend.
